Called to Build

Reaching Everywhere: Equipping people worldwide

Not only do we help plan and develop internet ministries, this evening, sitting in my own home, I interacted with a number of people from all over the world. I’m an online mentor who answers questions to help and encourage new believers. Plans and strategies are very important. But my greatest joy is in helping someone know God for the first time, or grow in their faith as a new follower of Jesus.

Debra was one of the people I emailed. Debra had visited one of our websites and written:
I know Jesus.  Its just so hard in my life right now. I just want to give up.  I am so tired of this same cycle.  I just want to see a breakthrough in my life forever, not just for a moment or a day.  I want to walk with God.  I want to feel Him in everything I do and say.  Its just so hard to mess up to recognize and to trust always.  Its so hard.

I prayed for Debra. I wrote to her a little of my own personal journey. For many years, I experienced a roller coaster Christian life, up and down, close to God then distant from God. I referred her to our website Have You made the Wonderful Discovery of the Spirit-Filled Life? When I was a college student, someone helped me with these principles. (Note: Purchase copies of this booklet here.)

Spirit filled lifeAbout an hour later, Debra emailed me back
Thank you so much for the website greatcom.org/spirit. I recognized myself in the carnal man.  I think its very what ironic what you said about accepting Christ at an early age because I am experiencing the roller-coaster life style now. The website you suggested has been really helpful. Thank you for the prayers.

Helping people know Jesus. Helping people love Jesus. Helping people share Jesus. This gives our lives meaning and purpose.
