Keith & Kay Seabourn: Fulfilling our mission

The Church of Jesus Christ stands on the brink of the greatest revolution in the history of the world in our ability to communicate the gospel. We now have the ability to reach every person, everywhere, every day, all the time.

My passion is to see the body of Christ embrace this communication revolution and use it to help fulfill the Great Commission.

The Apostle Paul used the communication methods of his day—letters and the Roman road system—to proclaim the gospel throughout the known world. His major ministry was long-distance communication through letters, which became much of the New Testament. Paul never visited Colossae, but he discipled Colossians. His letter to the Roman church, whom he had not visited at that time, is considered the most systematic documentation of theology in the New Testament and has been helpful to many in understanding God’s grace.

Several years ago I accepted the responsibility of pioneering a new role as Chief Technology Officer of Campus Crusade for Christ. The creation of this role demonstrates Campus Crusade’s commitment to leverage technologies in order to accomplish our traditional goal of helping to fulfill the Great Commission.

Our mission is to build spiritual movements everywhere. My vision and strategy is to grow uses of digital technologies to win people to Christ, build them in their faith, and send them out to disciple others.

Kay assists me by relating to other ministry leaders, enhancing communications, and coordinating meetings. Her heart for others is evident as she leads in the development process of staff women and volunteers as a liaison with international missionaries.
